Once I've chosen my products, how do I make a booking?

You can purchase your tickets or passes through our website at raileurope.com or through a travel agent. You can also call Rail Europe directly ( Contact Us ). Please note that Rail Europe’s offer is available only for North American travelers with permanent residence in the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America or Canada.
Where do I find my booking number?

Your booking (or reference) number is located in the upper right-hand corner of either your email confirmation or the invoice that came with your documents. (Your tickets do not contain the booking number.) If you’ve also purchased Rail Europe's Rail Protection Plan, you can find your booking number on that document as well.
Why should I buy my rail products before I leave the United States?

Two very good reasons: Peace of mind. And cost.

When traveling abroad, it’s always best to place your order before you depart North America. That way, you’ll have the proper paper documents in hand. And, you’ll avoid fully booked trains that will simply disrupt your travel plans. What’s more, rail passes purchased in Europe can cost more. Wouldn’t you rather spend those extra dollars on a great meal?
